Alcohol and cancer risks

Apologies for spoiling the idea that alcohol is good for you!  Alcohol does increase the risk of many common cancers.  Did you also know it has a lot of hidden calories?  150mL (non-diet) Coke has 60 calories, the same volume of white wine has 100 calories and yes, 150mL of red wine has the most at 125 calories (523kJ).  So cutting your alcohol intake is an easy way to lose weight and will reduce your risk for cancer.
